Affiliate disclosure

Short version: some links here are commercial, they are always marked, and they never decide what a page says.

The relationship, stated plainly

Minerals Kingdom is an online shop owned by KEVALEX Group — the same company that publishes The Quiet Garden. When we link to it, we are linking to ourselves, and we say so every single time. This is not an arm's-length affiliate arrangement dressed up as a recommendation; it is a sister business, and you deserve to know that before you click.

How to spot a commercial link

  • It sits in a bordered box with an orange edge, never inside the flow of an argument.
  • It is followed by a line of grey text saying it is a commercial link.
  • It carries rel="sponsored" in the page source, which is the standard way of telling search engines the same thing.
  • There is at most one per page. If you find two, that's a mistake — please tell us.

What it doesn't change

No page on this site exists because it gave us somewhere to put a link. We decide what to write from what readers are actually asking, and the commercial box is added afterwards or not at all. Most pages here have none.

We also don't claim any object is necessary. A stone in the hand helps some people settle and does nothing for others; nothing sold anywhere will make you better at paying attention.

Third-party affiliation

Where we have no product of our own — cushions, benches, timers, garden materials — we may in future link to outside retailers on affiliate terms. If we do, it will be marked exactly the same way, and it will never take priority over telling you that the thing you already own is fine.

What we don't sell

  • Sponsored articles. Not at any price.
  • Links in existing pages. Not at any price.
  • Guest posts placed to build someone's backlink profile. Not at any price.
  • Your email address or data. See the privacy policy.

Paid courses

When our own courses launch, they will be listed openly with their price, sold through our own checkout, and never a condition of reading anything free on this site.

Think we've crossed a line somewhere? Say so. That message goes to a person, and this page exists precisely so you can hold us to it.
